Leicester could miss seven games for defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi after picking up an injury in last month’s 2-2 draw with Burnley.

The Daily Mail reports that Leicester City manager. Brendan Rodgers is fearful that Ndidi may not be available until the middle of next month. Which will miss up to 7 games with the team. Because of an injury problem in the game against Burnley last week.

“Wilf had a problem against Burnley, unfortunately, he miss the game against Legia Warsaw. Because of a ban and against Crystal Palace as well, it might be four or five weeks for him. Come back We’ll have to wait and see what happens next,” Rodgers said.

After this, Ndidi will be unable to help the team against Manchester United (home), Spartak Moscow (away), Brentford (away), Brighton (home), Arsenal (home), Spartak Moscow (home) and Leeds United (away).

It will then be a two-week break from the national team program in November. And Rodgers is expect to see the fit Nigeria midfielder return to action thereafter.

It means Ndidi is certain to miss out on Leicester’s next match. After the international break against Manchester United, while he could also miss the clash against Arsenal.

Rodgers will also likely be without his midfield enforcer in Europe too in a double header against Spartak Moscow in the Europa League group stage.
